By taking this training you are taking the first step in becoming a campus leader to end sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking at Cal Poly!
Be a Volunteer
After completing Safer Leadership training, you may use your knowledge for personal development or take it a step further by becoming a volunteer with Safer! Volunteers may have a variety of tasks ranging from event coordination, presenting to various campus organizations, and helping out in the office.
Be an Intern
Safer offers students internships and senior project opportunities throughout the year. Safer will work with you and your faculty advisor to create an internship or project relevant to your career development that meets your department’s requirements. We have had great success with our interns and students completing their senior projects and encourage you to email us at safer@calpoly.edu if you are interested.
Be a Student Assistant
Safer hires several student assistants each year who take on many roles, such as event planning, marketing, presentations, and research. If you are interested in playing a central role in campus advocacy and education, contact Safer at safer@calpoly.edu or visit the office!
